How do I pay for my hotel?
Payment will be made directly to the hotel at check-in. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation when booking.
Can I use frequent traveler or rewards points to pay for my hotel reservation?
Unfortunately, rooms booked through Houston Comedy Film Festival Housing & Travel cannot be paid for using rewards points.
How do I change, cancel, or move my reservation to another hotel?
To make changes, use the “Request for Change” link in your confirmation email. You cannot make changes directly with the hotel.

I’m booking a hotel on behalf of someone else — how do I make their reservation?
When booking, you will have the option to enter the guest’s details. You will also need to provide a Credit Card Pre-Authorization form to ensure the reservation is properly secured.
The hotel I want is sold out. Can I get on a waitlist in case someone cancels?
Yes, you can join a waitlist for your preferred hotel. Simply follow the instructions provided in the waitlist section of our website.

Meetingmax is the platform we use to manage hotel reservations for our attendees. It ensures a smooth and efficient booking process.
I already booked a hotel room directly with a hotel, but the rate is really high. How do I get the Houston Comedy Film Festival group rate applied to my room?
Unfortunately, we cannot apply our group rate to existing reservations made directly with hotels. We recommend booking through our Housing & Travel system for the best rates.
