when is the festival date?

October 10-11, 2026

Is there anything free?

Yes! The Free Festival Experience includes the Official Film Exhibition, Creative Marketplace, Meet the Filmmakers, Live Podcast Stage, Audience Choice Voting, Food Vendor Village, Student Showcase, Sponsor Activations, and Red Carpet Viewing.

What requires a ticket?

Official film screenings, the Late Night Comedy Showcase, the Industry Networking Mixer, and VIP Concierge experiences require a ticket.

What's included with the $50 Festival Pass?

The Festival Pass includes everything in the Free Festival Experience, plus Official Film Screenings, a Festival Hospitality Package (gourmet popcorn, beverage, welcome bag, and three Taste of Houston tasting vouchers), and Audience Choice Voting.

Do I need a ticket to watch the films?

Yes. Official film screenings require a paid Festival Pass.

Can I attend just the Late Night Comedy Showcase?

Yes! The Official After Party is: FREE with advance registration $20 during Festival Week $40 at the door (subject to availability)

Is this a one-day or two-day festival?

Both days feature different films, panels, and guests. You can buy a single-day pass or a 2-day pass for full access to everything.

What's included with the Industry Networking Mixer?

An exclusive evening connecting filmmakers, actors, producers, investors, sponsors, and industry professionals. Includes: White Glove Reception, Curated Hors d'Oeuvres, Live Entertainment, Networking Experience, Official After Party Access

Is the After Party included?

VIP guests receive everything included with their selected ticket, plus priority check-in, VIP concierge support, premium hospitality, exclusive perks, and (depending on the package) airport transportation.

Are passes refundable or transferable?

Platinum and Filmmaker badges include awards and after‑party access. Comedy Fan and Student options can add the party as an upgrade at checkout.

Can I upgrade my ticket after purchase?

Yes, contact us at hello@houstoncomedyfilmfestival.com and we'll help you upgrade to a higher tier.
