Tourists follows Hans, a meticulous young German man obsessed with control, who travels to Valencia during the iconic Fallas festival. What he initially planned as another perfectly organized trip quickly turns into a chaotic and transformative experience. Surrounded by the sound of fireworks, parades, and festivities, Hans is swept into a whirlwind of noise, color, and disorder, far from his comfort zone.
As the intensity of the festival increases, Hans faces his own fears and insecurities. At first, he struggles to maintain his rigid control over everything, but circumstances push him to let go and embrace the spontaneity and chaos around him. Through his integration into the Fallas culture, Hans begins to question his need to control every aspect of his life, discovering a new way of living in the process.
Tourists is a story about cultural clash, humor, and personal transformation, set against the backdrop of one of Europe’s most vibrant festivals.
