riters Statement:
I’ve always adored films like Airplane! and The Naked Gun. My goal is to make movies I would like to see. And those are spoof comedies. I’ve always heard the saying “Laughter is the best medicine” and I believe that to be true. My goal in making The Driving Test! is to help people laugh so hard that they temporarily forget about their real world problems.
Biography
Drew Taylor, a Jacksonville, Florida area native that specializes in writing, directing, and acting. He’s had a love for spoof comedies such as Airplane! and The Naked Gun, ever since he was a child. That attachment created The Driving Test! That Russian Guy is a character he created in 2014 as a member of his high school sketch comedy group. He has been the only person to play the character since then. Drew knew from the start that he had to reprise the role for The Driving Test!
