Biography
From a young age, Erin Elizabeth Keefer had a deep appreciation and love for the arts. After graduating from the University of Virginia, she began her career following her love for music, working for the Dave Matthews Band. She then moved to New York City to pursue her own passion for acting. There she graduated from the William Esper Studio. Erin thrived in improvisation and comedy, playing a plethora of roles on television shows such as, ‘Chappelle’s Show,’ ‘Arrested Development,’ ‘Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn,’ and ‘According To Jim,’ among others. Erin also played roles on ‘As the World Turns’ and many Independent Films.
Eventually, Erin moved to Los Angeles where she began writing Comedy Feature Screenplays. Erin’s love for writing became her sole focus as she transitioned from being in front of the camera to a becoming a fulltime screenwriter. Having started out as an actor, Erin has a sincere appreciation for the entire film process from beginning to end. Erin has won over 200 Awards and Recognitions for her Comedy Feature Screenplays, including: ‘Best of Fest’ at the Catalina Film Festival in 2021 & 2023, ‘Best Feature Script’ at the Burbank International Film Festival 2023, ‘Best Script’ at the Los Angeles Film & Script Festival 2023, ‘Best Comedy Feature Screenplay’ at the Cordillera International Film Festival 2024 and many more. Currently, she has three comedy feature screenplays in development and one in post-production, set for a 2025 release date.
