“I want this film to be a relatable, entertaining story for others with disabilities. But more than that, I want them to feel encouraged to chase after their own dreams, even if those dreams must be adjusted to accommodate them. Disabled people are so strong, so talented, so beautiful, and are so deserving of their happy endings. I hope this shows them they are worthy. I also hope this film creates awareness for those who are able-bodied and unaware of how daily life is for disabled people. This has been a privilege and a journey to write.”
