A great friend of mine, Sammie Eastwood, wrote this project and I found it very well crafted and written. Lots of lush characters with complex human emotions, which is exactly the type of stories I like to explore. So I offered my hand and directing and this was one of our biggest projects and most successful projects. It explores human drama and relationships through a comedic and empathetic lens. Rather than judge its characters it allows them to breathe and make their own decisions, often ugly and self sabotaging as is life. Hope to continue to explore more drama and with these people.
