A
self-important film director invites a documentary crew to follow him on his latest journey helming pornography. In this mockumentary, come behind the curtain, with the cast and crew working on a professional pornography set. Like any job, there are ups and downs, and at times, their jobs suck.
Gavin says, “Also, I don’t often get to direct comedy, though I love the genre so much and “Profiles” was unlike even the other comedies I had directed. Our experience making this film is just pure fun.
A collaborative group, taking a fun and unexpected look at a day in the life of a pretentious director on the set of an adult film. What director doesn’t want to poke fun at himself a little bit? I was even able to “act” (if we can call it that) as the documentary interviewer. Again, a new challenge, something new for me to try as a director. It is a film made with fun, intended to be fun and in the end, who doesn’t want to peel back the curtain and see the inner workings of a taboo film set? I hope you enjoy our creation as much as we enjoyed creating it!”
