Biography
Director Biography: Amir Razavi
Amir Razavi is an accomplished actor with extensive experience in both theatre and film/television. His theatrical background includes notable performances at prestigious venues such as The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, MainStage Irving-Las Colinas, Pocket Sandwich Theatre, and the Latino Cultural Center. Some of his memorable stage roles include portraying Charlie Cotchipee in "Purlie Victorious," Jonathan Harker in "Dracula," and the Woodcutter in "Blood Wedding."
In the film and television industry, Razavi has worked on various commercial and independent projects, including "Midnight Shine," where he played Scott Bennett, and several student productions at SMU and UTA. His commercial work includes appearances for brands like Asurion Insurance, BuzzBallz, and Uncle Julio's.
Razavi's training includes studying at the prestigious British American Drama Academy's Midsummer in Oxford program in 2019, and he has specialized stunt training from John Caan Stunts, where he learned fights, falls, and rappelling. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Dallas (2015) and brings additional value to productions with his fluency in Spanish.
