When a man doesn’t know who he is anymore, sometimes he needs a woman who knew him when he was him to show him how to become the man he wants to be.
I’ve always loved film noir and screwball comedy, so what better way to show my affection than combining the two? I believe that if you say super silly things in a super serious manner, you can sneak some truth into even the zaniest of pieces.
Biography
Nate Myers is a writer & director who works across all space, time, and genre, usually with guns and/or puns. Originally hailing from St. Louis (where they still use words like "hailing"), he later snuck into USC where he learned to point a camera and a pen. In 2019, he directed two Encore Producers' Award-Winning short plays at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. His first feature, AFTER WE'RE OVER, won the Audience Choice for Best Feature at the 2021 St. Louis International Film Festival and is now streaming on Amazon. Furthermore, he just finished post on his second feature, THE BANK YANK, and a screwball-noir short, A MAN APART, starring Will Forte and Natalie Palamides.
