Festival Attendee Guide
Welcome to the Houston Comedy Film Festival! Whether you’re joining us for a day of screenings, coming out for the evening parties, or spending the entire weekend with us, here’s what you need to know before you arrive.
Festival Dates & Location
The Houston Comedy Film Festival takes place October 10–11, 2026 at The Deluxe Theater in Houston, Texas.
We recommend arriving approximately 15–20 minutes early to give yourself plenty of time to park, check in, and get settled before your first scheduled event.
Parking
Parking is free for festival attendees. Parking is available in the theater parking lot.
Tickets & Admission
Tickets may be available for purchase at the door, subject to availability. Tickets purchased at the door will be priced higher than advance tickets, so we recommend purchasing online before the festival.
A one-day screening pass provides access to film screenings for the selected festival day. Guests who want to attend screenings on both days will need a pass for each day or a Festival Bundle, which includes two days of screenings plus access to both festival parties.
Party-only tickets provide access to the festival parties on both days.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Film Screenings
Screening-pass holders can enjoy films throughout their selected festival day.
Please arrive early enough to find your seating and get comfortable before the program begins.
Festival Parties
The festival parties take place both evenings from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Party admission is included with eligible party tickets and Festival Bundles. Alcohol will be available during the evening events.
Food, Drinks & Vendors
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from festival vendors.
Guests can also explore the festival’s public vendor area, meet participating businesses and organizations, shop, and pick up promotional merchandise and giveaways.
Visiting the Free Festival Area
You don’t need a screening ticket to come experience the public area of the festival.
Stop by, explore the vendors, grab something to eat, and enjoy the festival atmosphere. A ticket is required to enter ticketed screenings and parties.
Age Requirement
The Houston Comedy Film Festival is intended for guests ages 18 and older. Festival programming may include mature content and is not designed for children.
Accessibility
The Deluxe Theater offers ADA-accessible accommodations. Guests who need assistance or have specific accessibility questions are encouraged to contact the festival team before attending.
Photos & Video
Personal photos and videos are welcome throughout permitted festival areas.
Commercial photography, filming, or recording requires press credentials.
What to Bring
Bring your ticket confirmation, phone, and a valid photo ID, particularly if you plan to attend evening events where alcohol is available.
Festival schedules and event details may be available digitally, so having your phone handy is recommended.
