Comedy Feature (more than 60 pages)
Screenwriter

Callie and Iris used to be as thick as thieves, sisters, but somewhere along the way life got more complicated. Callie, fearing that she’s about to lose Iris forever, decides that she needs an intervention. She drags Iris on a cross country roadtrip to pull the one person who can help out of retirement.

W

riter Statement:

This project is a love letter to all of my favorite movies I watched growing up. It’s little bit quirky with a lot of heart. By the end of the process Callie and Iris felt like my own friends that I had to say goodbye to. I loved living in this world. Like many of my projects it features my specific brand of outlandish comedy however it is rooted in an emotional truth. I lost my own father to cancer when I was 17 years old. This project helped me reconcile what I’ve been carrying all of these years. It is my hope that whomever reads it, finds the light in all of the darkness of grief.
