Werewolf Scouts started as an idea of my dear friend and collaborator Jacob Burns. With his blessing, I went off and wrote a feature length screenplay entitled Werewolf Scouts. In 2016, with a little money we raised, Jacob, his brother Zachary, and I went out and shot a short film version of the screenplay. After running into a wall with raising the full budget of our technically ambitious feature film, I focused on producing three other low budget feature films, raised two wonderfully busy kids, and bumped into a little global pandemic. In 2024, I revisited Werewolf Scouts with wildly fresh eyes and ears. I’m delighted to finally share this labor of love with you and hope you laugh and sing.
