W

riter Statement: We love books. And we love TV. Why do they have to be so separate? When we set out to make a workplace comedy, we happened to go into a bookstore. There Tim asked “Hey do you have any Tom Clancy?” And, the droll clerk at the counter said “We don’t sell anything by people who are dead.”

“What about Shakespeare? McCarthy? Austen?” Kristina asked.

She looked at us as if we had two-heads and it was obvious: a bookstore is rife for humor. But more so, the humor we want to write: wholesome, quirky, filled with physical comedy and bold personalities.

Its the kind of show you want to take with you when you’re having a bad day. Just the way you do with a good book and your favorite characters.
