W

riter Statement:

This project was an incredibly cathartic experience for me to put down on the page. As outlandish as it is it is actually an incredibly personal story that helped me come to terms with my relationship with my own family. In addition to this, it is also a personal milestone as it is my very first feature screenplay ever. It is my hope that it gives the audience the same feeling of relief and catharsis that it brought me while writing. I hope my unique humor can help readers feel a sense of levity about their own familial trauma. It is my hope that when finished you come out feeling lighter.
