Biography
Suhail Ahmad is an UAE–based filmmaker and London Business School graduate whose work blends engineering precision with human-centered storytelling. His films explore themes of technology, identity, and social impact across cultures. His short “ToxiCity”, co-directed with Sheryar Ali, premiered at Nebrodi Cinema Doc in Sicily, while he produced the Punjabi sci-fi film “A Door to My Memory” will premiere at Tasveer, the South Asian Oscar-qualifying festival in the U.S.. Other recent projects include “Couch Connection,” which examines intimacy in the digital era; “Hide n Seek,” shot in Italy; and “Ruya,” a short exploring children’s mental well-being in war-affected zones.
Beyond filmmaking, Suhail is developing a tech-forward streaming and shopping platform, reflecting his entrepreneurial approach to film distribution. He is committed to telling original stories that cross borders and spark meaningful conversations.
